Hello to all! Confusing question(for me at least)
I pulled my FICO scores on 12/25 and they were:
Equifax - 697
Transunion - 722
I then applied for for a mortgage and I received a "Disclosure of Credit Score Information which stated my scores were as follows:
Equifax Beacon - 697(matches the FICO score I pulled)
Experian - 684
Transunion - 682(this is 40 points less)
My question is why my Transunion score is 40 points less than the FICO score I pulled a day earlier. I have read a couple of threads on here about different formulas being used but I am lost in the sauce.
As always, all help/guidance is greatly appreciated!

The TU FICO score that consumers can buy is the TU98. The one that most lenders use is the TU04.
Consumers can't buy the TU04. In most instances, I have seen borrowers report that the newer TU FICO score from their lender is lower than the older one that is available to us.
Thanks for the reply! I was just so confused over the huge disparity. I even pulled my FICO score the following day to see if there was any difference and it was still at 720.
