FICO alert about CC account...it says item disputed but I did not initiate

a dispute for this account. I went and checked and I have several accounts that have the disputed verbage in the comments...is this something that can be initiated by someone within the CRA? How can I get them to take the comments off? Very strange.

It wasn't a Sears card, was it?

I used the internal e-mail link that they have on their site several times to ask for a GW deletion for a 30-day late. From the wacko responses, it was obvious that it was being "read" by word-recognition software. I tried one more time, using all the buzzwords I could think of, and next thing I knew, all 3 CRA's showed the account as "disputed by consumer." That was on December 18, and it's still there.

No harm, I guess...
