So I was AZEO for four months after finding this group. Before, I'd just been paying on time for 3 years with scores gradually rising- but not close to 700 like I had with azeo. I didn't now better, ho early.
I had had med issues/job 3-4 years ago and this caused bad credit issues. See scores, below.
So two weeks ago, got a call about an old bill from a CA from those times. Luckily, I called the creditor directly AND had the credit ability to pay across 3 cards- the largest being care credit (90 percent but not maxed out).
Now, I KNEW my credit would drop... but emotionally I'm pretty bummed it's 20 points. It'll be paid and back to azeo in 1-2 months depending on how things hit and when they report.
Just letting y'all know that utilization is a huge part of FICO while also venting and saying the struggle is real. And it kinda sux being reminded of lower scores since I definitely never want to go back to the dark days again.
thx in advance for the advice here and reading
Sorry to hear that hit you as it did...though it sounds pretty accurate...UTIL spikes and you'll take a hit.
Thankfully, unlike late payments that stick around....UTIL points lost are gained right back as balances are paid back.

Thankfully you'll be back on an even keel in a month or two.
BTW, 90% is considered maxed.
