Ok, so yesterday I decided to give it a shot with my credit union on replacing a car well past its prime. I told the loan officer I had a 659 on TU, which is what they use. She says that should be fine. Should be looking at 4.25% on 60 months. I was like WOW!!! Then she pulls my CR, and says "Oh, you have a 681 TU. Looks like I can give you 3.75%"...
Don't get me wrong, I was thrilled with 3.75% and a 681 TU, but is it normal for there to be a 22 point difference between myFICO, and a credit union which is pulling a FICO score?
