FICO score differences...

I just made the switch today to the 3 CRA reporting and found out the reason for the big gap between my TU score vs EQ/EX.  (see sig for scores and post BK new accounts)

All the inquiries I used last year to open the accounts post BK13 were pulled from TU other than CapOne who pulls all 3. When I lived on the east coast EQ was the CRA that everyone pulled... out west it seems TU is the CRA of choice. I've got a dozen Inquries on TU from 9/13 thru 12/13... we'll see what happens when they all reach a year old and supposedly no longer affect my score. I see no other explanation for the score difference... the accounts listed are the same across all 3.

Unless I'm missing something?

I think I'm in a similar situation to yours? I have the following 7 inquiries:  4 TU (CU Visa, 2 Barclays, CAP 1), 2 EQ (Discover & CAP 1) and 1 EX (CAP 1).

The CU visa just aged one year on 8/7/14 and was my first CC after BK13 discharge on 5/7/13.

What's interesting is that my TU98 score was 707 as of 02/14 and I couldn't understand why my Barclay & Discover were reporting mid 660's to 673.

Through this forum I have learned alot! First, there are way too many FICO scoring models, i.e., 98, 04, 08, enhanced, etc.

All said, I'm hoping for a little bump next month on my TU08 scores with only 3 inquiries and 4 new accounts and 1% total utilization on one card and the remaining cards reporting zero balance.

I believe the TU08 punishes me a bit more for new inquiries and new accounts?

I too will have no scoreable iquiries (FICO) as of 12/01/14. I'm really anxious to see if my TU08 catches up to my EQ08 (701) since they are reporting the identical (22) accounts.

EX (24) has two more accounts (positive, closed accounts) that are not listed on either TU or EQ.

Good Luck

FICO 8 / EQ 824 / EX 815 / TU 816

Discover $36,000, Capital One $32,500, Chase Bonvoy $30,000, Barclays Arrival+ $34,200, Fidelity Rewards $25,000, AMEX Delta $25,000, AMEX Bonvoy $25,000, AMEX Platinum $$$

Re: FICO score differences...

Thanks for the response. Hard to believe INQs will drag you down that much but apparently they do.

In addition to the dozen I had for the last 4 months of 2013 on TU I have the 2 from 2014 as noted in my sig.

I have 2 each from EQ and EX in that 2013 timeframe and none in 2014.

Will update in January 2015.... I'm expecting my TU score to catch up at that time.
