You know what? this might be why a member in another thread was preapproved and then denied. They could’ve been relying on old information.
It wouldn't surprise me.
Update: I waited a month to see if there was a delay with Navy fed pulling old information as some users have suggested. Navy fed's Fico 9 update 08/05/2020 and it's sitting at 715.
3 Bureau's update 08/03/2020
Experian 779
Equifax 770
Trans 784

Are these FICO 8 or 9?

I have no collections or late payments. I'm also not seeking credit. The last hard pull I had was on November 24, 2018, for a car loan. I have 8 CC's with only two that have a balance putting me at a revolving credit at 37% I have no medical bills since everything is paid for through Tricare. The only thing I can think of is that I'm getting dinged for is the length of credit history and utilization. My oldest card is 15.3 years, but my average is 6.3 years. This coming month My revolving credit will be under 30% From everything I've read, I would assume my Fico 9 would be higher since Fico 8 focuses more on utilization. It is disheartening to see that my bank is using the Fico 9 score. Do you have any ideas on why the scores are so far apart?
Navy Fed's score updates are based on data from the 4th Tuesday of the preceding month. Since there are often significant data changes as of the first of the month, or the last day of the preceding month, it is not really accurate as of the day it is reported. The July 3rd update was really a June 30th update, and the August 5th update was really a July 28th update.
You're right.. it should be. My fico 9 is higher.. strange...
Same situation happen to me for TU 8 vs TU9 had 57 point diff. I review the history of both scores and what I found was that after I applied for NFCU plat card then BT over $3k of $4.2k is when TU9 took a disproportionate hit where as all other fico scores and the other Eq + Experian were fine several months after the changes so it was literally just TU9 was only lasting change.

@Merc1776 do you know when and would you be kind enough to share what was your age of youngest revolver before that platinum reported?
that that would be 71% individual utilization, so you would've crossed at least 3 individual utilization Thresholds.
It was just TU fico 9 that was suppressed fico 2,3,5, and 8 all good. Before that the last CC app was 5 years ago.

@Merc1776 that doesn't make any sense at all because if you had not opened up any accounts for that long, when you opened up that credit card you should've experienced Scorecard reassignment on every version. Strange.
