Fico Alerts and Updates

How come when I receive an alert that there is a change to my score, balance or items that have been removed there isn’t any update.

For example I have an email and alert for today saying that my transunion score changed and there was an account removed however when I log on there I don’t see any update. The last update was from 1/21/2018.

I tried logging in from the app and computer but I don't see any update for transunion for today.

Re: Fico Alerts and Updates

I assume you're speaking about the MF service available through this site.  I do not use the service, but from what I understand you receive monthly updates of your 3B reports.  This means that you'll only see it refreshed once per month.  During that time, though, you'll receive alerts any time an alertable event takes place.  The alerts let you know that if you DO pull your reports again (or the next time you are able to pull them) you'll see that change that caused the alert.

Basically, you're looking at a new alert now, but still looking at an "old" report that didn't yet reflect that alert.

Re: Fico Alerts and Updates

See my signature link on FICO alerts.

MyFICO doesn't monitor your reports.  They subscribe to each bureaus' monitoring services and every bureau has a different trigger list for what constitutes alert-worthy changes.

MyFICO doesn't control these things at all.  They merely subscribe you to the 3 bureaus internal monitoring programs, and then MyFICO makes those programs prettier on your screen.

The FICO8 scores will update along with the alert, but subscribers will have to wait for a new report to see updates on other scores.
