It is reporting $19 on my Experian report and is also the statement balance.

That is definitely very strange, then. My score always goes up about 20 points when I go from all-zero to AZEO. Perhaps there's something else going on that's not obvious.

I never was at all-zeros, I had too cards with balances all the other times but this time I let on one card carry a balance and my score dropped from 807 to 792.

I normally pay off all of my credit cards each month except for one or two. I recently paid all of my card balances down to zero except one. I left $19 on the card. When my  other card that I normally carry a balance on was paid down to zero and was reported as zero to my Experian credit report my score dropped 15 points and it said I was using zero percent credit utilization even though my AZEO card has a $19 balance. Does the amount that you let report on your AZEO card make your score lose points like this?

If you had all but two balances reporting zero, and then reported just one $19 balance, your FICO scores would either stay the same or go up, they would not go down.  So look for something else; you're barking up the wrong tree.

The fact that the graphic interface rounded the utilization down to zero percent is meaningless in terms of the algorithm and your scores. The graphic interfaces usually consider less than half a percent as zero, but the algorithms do not similarly round down, unless it's a totally nominal sum, like $1.  $19 is not zero utilization for scoring purposes.

Nothing else has change except me carrying only one card with a balance. My other cards never carry a balance. The card I paid off had a balance $568 out of CL of $30000. My other two credit bureaus scores did not drop.

@wildboys, in addition to what @SouthJamaica has mentioned about store and credit union cards, would this card happen to have an extremely high limit? Or could it be a Chase card that was subsequently paid to zero?

@FireMedic1, I'd lose points on several scores if I allowed 5% to report. More importantly, I'd be spending too much money. Smiley Happy As I mentioned in another thread today, I'm dinged at $147 on over 70k in limits.

@HeavenOhio Huh? Smiley Surprised Sheesh. I had to let $940 report from a new fridge last month. Statement cut next day. Lucky I was home when the old one just quit. Could have cooked an egg on the compressor. Or the turkey. Took a 10 point hit with 93k. Now its back to normal.

Great question! A few months ago I experienced the double whammy: the all-zero penalty AND the AU all-zero penalty. Lost about 30 points between the two. Easily remedied, of course.
