Finally made 850 on all credit bureaus! Granted this is only in FICO Source 8, none of the other scores are perfect - expect for Equifax Source 9.
This is after declaring BK in 2003 and around 2010 I started tracking my score and visiting the forms. While I have not posted a lot, I have read a LOT!! Thank you to all that post invaluable information!
BTW, I don't know who else to brag too, without sounding like a total ass. I hope you guys get that I wanted to brag a bit and not think ill of me ;-)
EDIT: Was asked about my Credit
1st up, I did get lucky with one of my CC, Amex. After BK they let me back in around 9 years. They also backdated my membership and credit date to when I first got my card before BK (1996). That change gave me a double digit increase. Only when BK drop did I ever have a bigger jump.
I have 17 open accounts.
11 Credit Cards
4 Retail Cards
1 Home Loan
1 Lease
I have 149,000 worth of credit with all my 15 cards. My highest is 20k with Capital One and Chase
I hardly ever have more than 1 card carry a balance.
I hardly ever have any one card over 8%
I generally stay ~5% of total usage
Never been late since BK
Card: Amex, Capital One, Citi, Chase, Barclay, Discover, Target, Kohl’s, various Synchrony.
