Finally in the 800's!!

After years of being in the 650's after I hit some hard times with multiple CC's going into collections...I finally bounced back! In my previous posts I spoke about somethings falling off after 7 yrs and payment settling on a card or two. Well after all of that and bringing my Cap1 QS (only cc at the moment) to zero and following the $5 balance a month rule for multiple months, my FICO scores are 850 Experian, 850 Equifax and 806 Transunion (they still have 1 late payment showing from 3/2015 that should be dropping soon). I pulled my free credit report for all 3 and am super excited right now! All from the help of you guys here helping me to weather that storm with all of your guidance. 

I honestly dont think that I couldve done this without the help of everyone here in this myFICO community. You guys are the best!

That's a great achievement! Congratulations to you. It has been my experience that TU lags the other two with removing baddies as well. However, they might remove it early for you (January).

I'm hoping they will. I saw EX then saw EQ...and was like oh yeah!!  Went to TU and was like what happened??  lol

The wife and I are looking to sell the current home and purchase a new home....so this was the goal. Well it was to at least hit 800 but I'll take the 850.

Same thing happened to me. I had a derog from 2/15 on all three. EX removed it in June, EQ in October and TU finally removed it about 10 days ago. Hoping they go a little early on you too.
