Thank you for the reminder that this is a journey, not a destination.

Finally hit the 800 club. I don’t see any other credit cards that I want. Guess I’ll garden.

Thank you for the update! I hope you finally got divorced. Congrats on the schooling! Keep your Student Loans current or have you paid them off by now? Will the forclosure drop from your report soon?

I'm just starting my rebuild. I got into a pickle in 2018 (head trauma). I wasn't really pay attention to my credit then. I just thought it was bad. Turns out it was ok. Then I was clueless and just didn't pay some things after my injury. I could of saved myself the stress I'm having now, trying to clean it up, if I would of known about these forums then.

I'll be debt free at the end of the year (just an auto loan), until I go house shopping. My foreclosure was removed in Sept. 2019 from TU, Oct. 2019 from EQ, and EX lists Sept.2021 as the removal date.

Note: I disputed TU and EQ last year and put "account to old to report" and EQ and TU just deleted, EX said no thanks!

Re: From 800+ to Foreclosure - How Negatives Affect Your Score

Thank you for sharing your journey. I sent this thread to a co worker of mine who is in a very similar situation you were in back in 2015 right now, and he is losing sleep that his 20 years of perfect credit is going to go down the drain on the other side of his upcoming divorce.

Road to rebuilding starts soon

Dude... like a BOSS!!!  This is amazing.  Thanks so much for chronicling your journey.  I've seen this thread pop up over the 7 years I've been coming here but never read it.  It's fantastic.  Wish you all the best moving forward!
