Frustrated beyond belief....

My scores were as follows via myFICO and EX via LO pull:  TU: 629 EQ 610 EXP: 663

I've been busting my tail for quite sometime to get my mid-score up above 620.  Technically with the scores above they are, however, with Classic 04, my TU was only 603.

Anyway, I've managed to get 4 of 8 derogs removed from my account...and my EQ score only moved 6 points.  WTH!  My util is at 0%...I don't have anything late nor outstanding.  Nothing has changed in my credit profile other then the removal of these derogs...which did not impact my AAoA.

So...I don't know.  I'm trying not be discouraged, however, there isn't much that can be done at this point...but sit and wait.

On a positive note, my TU went from 629 to 657.  I wonder how TU classic 04 looks right about now?

Starting Score: TU04: 603 EQ: 613

Re: Frustrated beyond belief....

Two questions:

1) Were any of the baddies that you had removed also reporting to Equifax too?

2) Would your loan officer give you the score reasons for the Trans Union Classic FICO 04 score?

If so compare those reasons to the ones you got when you pulled your TU score from here I presume. Are there any differences?

I would believe you should see a similiar move in the TU classic 04 score.  Are all the baddies that you are having removed reflected on your credit report(s)/

  AndySoCal,

Actually, I used the CR pulled by my LO.  It had a couple things that my myFICO reports didn't have.  I also matched it with my TrureCredit report just to make sure.  The baddies that were removed varied depending on the report.  There were somethings that were on TU that weren't on EQ.  I had 2 CA's that came off of TU which equaled a nice big jump.  The funny thing is, I had 2 CO's and 2 CA come off of EQ...and only a 6 point increase.  The good news is, those two CO's should be coming off TU in addition to one CA.  So, maybe....just maybe, my TU will become my new mid-score and be sufficient.

Re: Frustrated beyond belief....

If those baddies that are yet to come off TU raise you score a few points Experian would be the mid score and you are there. Any those that are coming off TU also on Equifax or Experian?

3 were due to come off TU....actually, 1 of those 3 came off today.  It was a weird account that was a CO, yet, it was reporting good every month.  But, because overall it was negative, I choose to try to get it deleted....and it was.  The impact on my TU score, 0 points.  I still have one other CO that is reporting derogatory due to come off.  Additionally, I have one CA that is set to come off as well.

As for Experian, there are a total of 5 accounts due to come off.....the 2 CO's and 3 CA's.  So......???? LOL...who knows.....

Hopefully my scores will move favorably.  Your thoughts?

Re: Frustrated beyond belief....

Oh...and I forgot to mention.....TU would become my mid-score if using TU98.  However, for my mortgage qualification, my TU was 603 (when myFICO said it was 634).  So hopefully.....the 23 point swing will be similar w/ TU Classic 04.

Re: Frustrated beyond belief....

Well here's the update......the other CO that was set to come off TU came off.  The result...670!  Nice...can't complain there.  I have one more baddie set to come off....1 CA.  Soooo.....maybe, quite possibly....when that last baddie comes off,  TU....or EXP will become my new mid-score as mentioned above!!!!!  Excellent.....one step closer to home owner ship.  Fingers crossed!!!!

Re: Frustrated beyond belief....

I think you already have your mid score of 620 already with the updates that have already have been made to your credit report.

AndySoCal,

I hope so.  The fear is with how TU Classic04 will report.  It was at 603 prior to all the changes 6 weeks ago.  So... I don't assume I'll see a TU score of 670 when my mortgage LO runs it again....but, I'm hopeful it has crossed the 620 threshold.  The only thing that makes me a bit fearful is, EQ only went from 610 to 616 w/ almost the same accounts removed.  Hopefully TU Classic04 is more forgiving....
