GETTING SCORE TO 800

The way EQUIFAX controls my accounts I have a better chance of seeing God!   (698 for years now)

Once the BK drops you'll have a chance. No new accounts is key though. Forget any apps for new credit.

Re: GETTING SCORE TO 800

BK is 9 years old.   My only new app was CCCU and that's a year old next month.  733-713-698(EQ) and Plus score is 761. (LOL)  PFico-731.  EQ hates me.

I am using 7% UTIL and they say my balances are too high.  DANG.

Where's Tim?  Understanding Fico Scoring is an oxymoron.

I'm down to no inqs and just got small cli from CAP ONE.

EQ has removed one of my oldest accounts and cannot find it.

Utilization is measured by individual account as well as over all accounts in aggregate.  If a single account is at 60% utilization, you're going to be dinged ... even if overall utilization is low.

Re: GETTING SCORE TO 800

Yes one acct is at 12%.  But I have been down to 3% and one month i owed 3.00.  It never changes.

With this new thing where they don't give me credit for the Applied Bank acct (opened 10/1 and closed 9/06)  I am losing  history of 8+ years.

I was able to archive the Applied thing and they dropped it as of 8/08.  Why I wonder.  I have an accct opened 4/01 and closed by the FDIC in 2/02 and they still carry that.

With Equifax you just never know and they don't know either, but as you can see I am upset about losing this history.  They didn' send me an alert either (LOL)

As far as points for new account I have no idea. but I am at 0 inquiries with EQ and going to stay that way.
