Hello all -
Score went from 751 to 776. The remaining derog on my account is a 60 day late from Barclays back on Nov 2013. Patiently waiting for that day to come so it drops - guess it came early!
Pulled the EX report - it now shows it as 'ND' (no data...green dot, ND, ND, then green the rest of the way..) - guess 'ND' is the same as 'green'?
The derog still shows up as expected on TransUnion and Equifax .
Should I expect the 'early dismissal' to happen to TR and EQ - if so, when? And would the score bump roughly be the same? (TR is 763; EQ 761 as pulled on 6/12).
I am somewhat surprised that the bump was that much! I understand multiple variables could have come into play coincidentally, but I don't think anything in my financial picture changed that dramatically other than two CLI - but my UTIL is well under 10% anyway. I thought the penalty from the 60 day late gets less and less as time went on - yet here I am reaping an increase of 28 points.
Thank you in advance!
You get points back at 6 months 12 months 24 months and then of course when it drops off at 7 years. By 24 months you’ve gained about half of your penalty back.
Actually the two year mark is probably where it changes scorecards, there isn’t another place along the road because I’ve looked at the plots. It’s just those 3 spots.
