Re: Has anyone noticed anomalies with FICO 5,4,2 recently?

@Anonymous Inquiry did not cause a 70 point drop. But you said it was an account review inquiry; that is a soft pull and does not have any score consequence anyway, so that's not the cause, keep searching and comparing please.

By the way that's the only place you can see your soft inquiries. You need to search for a collection or a derogatory on an account somewhere or a missing account.

@Anonymous where would I search for other derogatory items that myfico/annualcreditreport wouldn't include in my report?

@Anonymous It would have to be on the annualcreditreport.com credit report.

Go line by line something has to be there somewhere.

Aside from the soft pull there's nothing derogatory or different on my report.

There has to be a difference somewhere, the same data would give the same score, you got to look again more closely.

It’s a mathematical formula, same input would be the same output; something has changed. We just got to figure out what.

I agree. The same input should result in the same output consistently. That's the root of my frustration. I've looked at reports on myfico, annualcreditreport, and the bureaus themselves. Nothing has changed between 8/26 and 9/11, yet my score has changed.

You’ve got to be missing it somewhere. Believe me people have looked five or six times before they found it.

Re: Has anyone noticed anomalies with FICO 5,4,2 recently?

I wish I was. I've been reviewing reports from everywhere since Friday morning. If there was a secure way to share my report I would. I was on the phone with customer service most of Friday morning going through this, and they weren't able to find any difference in derogatory items between the two reports. Do you know of any remedies for a scenario like this? I understand most people miss stuff, but trust me I'm not. I have been very intentional about my credit usage for the last two years.

If you can’t find a difference between those reports, customer service is the only thing I could recommend.

You seem to have missed my post from yesterday about what you need to do.

Take out your MyFICO 3 Bureau reports from September 11 and the August report.

Then, looking at these reports and nothing else, answer these questions:

1. What were the AAoA (average age of accounts), AoOA (age of oldest account), and AoYA (age of newest account) in

(a) the September 11th report and (b) the August report? (You can find these in the "ingredients" sections of your FICO 8 analysis).

2. What was the number of accounts in each of the 2 reports? (You can find this at the top left of the "credit data" page)

3. Are there any negative reason codes which appeared with the mortgage scores in the September 11th report that did not appear with the mortgage scores in the August report? (You can find these in the "analysis" of each mortgage score). If so, what are they?
