OK got the score from creditscorecard.com. You are right , it is Experian and less then the TU Score that I got from Discovercard. Ah well I have work cut out for me. Thanks

@Anonymouswrote:OK I went to creditscorecard.com. It seems like a Discover company or website owned by Discover. Since I already have Discovercard, with FICO SCORE feature , I checked it on and guess what. You were right ..my FICO SCORE is 639. So no as bad as I thought. Thanks for the tip !!
If you have a Discover card, you'll get a free TransUnion FICO8 from within your account. This one is additional and is available to everyone. It provides a free Experian FICO8.
What was your EX FICO 08 score from creditscorecard? Assuming the same profile data exists on your EX and TU reports and the FICO 08 model is being used both times here, your scores should be in the same ballpark. I'm curious how they compare.
Creditscorecard score 595
TU 639
quite a difference.
I would guess that something differs on your credit reports here, as that > 40 point variance is highly unlikely with identical bureau data.
Which myfico product should I buy, now that I am ready to dispute questionable elements. The Ultimate 3B product provides instant access for all 3 Bureaus and 3B access provides quarterly.Prices $58.95 and $29.95 respectively.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Are you certain you want to pay $30 or $60 per month for a credit service? Have you looked into all of the free or lower cost options first?
Please point me to the free or low cost site, you are referring to.
I would like to monitor the FICO08 Score though.
Thanks
@AnonymousI would like to monitor the FICO08 Score though.
If you are already getting your TU FICO 08 score from Discover and your EX FICO 08 score from creditscorecard.com, you're in a pretty good place as far as score tracking goes. If they are spaced apart, that's a score update every 2 weeks. You can also supplement those 2 scores with a $1 trial membership from creditchecktotal, where you'll get all 3 of your FICO 08 scores for $1. You can cancel the trial any time in the first 7 days to avoid being charged. Trials can be done again in the future, as often as you want; it's not a one-time thing. If your goal is score updates, I'm not sure myFICO accomplishes that, as I believe they give you score updates once a month or maybe even every 3 months depending on the membership. If you get alerts along the way you'll be provided with a new score at that time, but it depends on how often you receive alerts.
I would suggest signing up for all the free sites like Credit Karma, Credit Sesame, WalletHub, etc. Don't ever look at the scores they provide (non-FICO) but they do offer good tracking of your reports and will give you the same alerts you'd receive from myFICO, often even faster.
Looking at your FICO scores more than monthly or bi-weekly can be a bit counterproductive and overkill. I liken it to someone on a diet that is weighing themself every day instead of every week. They don't see the change happening fast enough and get frustrated or discouraged. FICO scores can fluctuate. You may see your score go down 3 points and then up 5. Then down 2 then up 6. Looking at your scores too often you may see those downward fluctuations more often and get frustrated, where if you look at them less frequently the minor drops will be more than made up for by your gains from sound credit behavior.
Thank You for a great advise, it makes sense. i will start this week sending my disputes.
