Help in understanding inquiries

Morning.  Let's say I have zero inquries and I app for a cc that spends TU.  Will that inq only be applied towards TU?  Meaning, let's say 3 months later I apply for another CC and they spend EX, will they see the inq as zero or 1?  I am seeing different inq reported depending on the CRA, so I was wondering if at some point in time they sync up?  Do most lenders pull multiple CRAs to cross check?  I am guessing if someone knew which cc lenders spent what, there could be some strategic opportunities to be had.

Thanks in advance for clarification.

Yes,lenders have relationships with different credit bureaus. For instance, in most cases Amex pulls EX. Cap1 seems to pull all three. Citi pulls EQ. Now, at times this varies as to what state you live in.

The HP/INQs on each CRA will never 'sync' up.  If the lender only pulls TU, then the HP will only be seen by CCC's that also pull TU.  Some CCC's do pull two or all three major CRA's though.  Others pull one CRA for the initial TL.  Then if you request a CLI, they pull a different CRA.   Each HP only effects your credit score on that CRA.

Lastly, there is a minor CRA that aggregates all HPs.  CCC's can pull it to see all of your INQs/HPs.
