The CRA places dispute comments, but it can be done in two different ways. you have a direct dispute with the lender who then notifies the CRA who then places the comment there, or you have a CRA dispute and then the CRA places the dispute there. Many times direct disputes don’t get properly cleared.
I don’t understand how the account remained at the other two bureaus if it was in fact a charged off account. Fair credit reporting act says it will not include any accounts that were charged to profit and loss if they antedate the report for more than 7 years. And if the catchall provision clears it, then that would make that provision of no effect, so that doesn’t feel right either.
Either way Experian you’re on a young Scorecard where as the other two are on a mature Scorecard because the age of your oldest account is vastly different. That will probably cause EX to be more volatile until after the oldest account there reaches 3 years on 8/9 or two years on 5/4/2. That would have more of an effect than the difference in average age.
