How bad are HP's?

Thank you Driftless! I am trying to juggle a lot of things and still get where we want to be.  I got my Cap1 in Jan 16 with $750. I started flushing my utilities, groceries, everything i could through it and PIF, repeat. I ask them for a CLI and they gave me $1,500..the next month they bumped it to $2,750. I asked BoA for a CLI and they HPed me (theres another one) and then denied me because of my 7 yr old baddie. A holes..I was running $980 a month through them with a 1k CL and PIF every month

It has been a tough road the past 7 years and I don't every want to go back. I was so proud and shocked that I was approved for an Amex Blue Everday Cash and a Chase Saphire Prefered..Thank you so much for your input!

I forgot to mention on the Cap1 CLI for $500 to $1,500, the card I started with did not have any rewards. After the bump,  I called them to see if they would upgrade me to a rewards card and they did....the bumped me to the QS and a $2,750 CL. This is the full QS, Not the QSone. I really thought that was awesome.

I did my rebuild with Cap One as well. They have treated me very well and one of their cards will always be in my wallet.

Agreed! I will always have one. I actually had 2 Cap1 cards that went Chernobyl in 2009...one fell off this month and the other falls off in November. They kept sending me the mail ads and I thought it was a trick of some kind...I finally broke down in January and ask for one to help with some car repairs and they gave me the $750 card. Without that I wouldn't be where I am today.

I also got a collection deletion letter today from an old ultlity in 2009...all 3 bureaus...so when the nov falls offf...I am clean and green!!! No more baddies!!!

Hey do I see you have the Reserve card! That is awesome! They shipped my Preffered card yesterday...My Blue Amex should be in the mail when I get home! I am major excited!
