How is FICO reading my lates on EQ and TU? Not at all?

OK, I know I posted this somewhere before but for the life of me I couldn't find it to add to it.

In the TU FICO report, I have a positive factor that is helping my score that mentions that I have never missed a payment. Well, I pulled my EQ today and it says my last missed payment was 6 yrs and 2 mos ago (coincides with a 2002 late for CapOne on EQ and EX only).

Sound go so far, right? However, I had a redeemed repo from early 2005 with up to 13 lates on it for EQ. The last late is clearly visible in EQ for Feb. 2005. In TU, the last late is also Feb. 2005.

Question: How is it that my FICO reports are not reading those lates from the car note? While the late ticks stick out like a sore thumb, does FICO turn a blind eye sometimes? Would they ever consider doing that all the time for me?

I think FICO might only be looking at the repo itself (and balances, if there are any) and not the lates. It seems that repos and charge-offs are looked at in a very similar when it comes to scoring.
