Re: How is this possible? I'm lost!!!?

try paying in full a few months (maybe that Utililization lowered you a bucket or two) with 1-9% reporting on 1 or 2 cards

Re: How is this possible? I'm lost!!!?

I created a spreadsheet to help monitor what cards seem to take hits when I pay down balances....on both my Experian and Equifax scores, I'm aways getting points taken away when I have "balance decreases" or "balance percentage decreases".....crazy!!!!

However, when I make purchases on these particular accounts the scores don't move.....weird to say the least.  I even took a major hit in points for receiving a credit line increase.....auto increase.

I'm surprised no one has said it get. More than likely the decrease was not the cause for the loss in score but instead just the event that caused your score to update.

Re: How is this possible? I'm lost!!!?

I have the same problem with Eqifax and sometimes experian. Transunion is my strongest score and never takes dips like that for paying. But  I'll trade you Equfax scores if you like? Mine is at 640!But on a serious note I feel your fustration, its like you get punished for being good, go figure?

Re: How is this possible? I'm lost!!!?

It does get pretty crazy trying to figure this game out...

Im actually paying off everything, going to use one card for daily purchases and thats that. Put every single card in the safe except my slate card and debit card. I am going to rotate a card every few months so they all get some love............

The last balance I have will be paid within a month so we shall see what happens and how the score reacts......

I will update accordingly..........
