How long does it take for payment history turn to Good/Great?

I have no recent baddies. How long does it take the Payment History indicator on the Fico turn from NotGood to Good or Great?  My scores are at 715 on TU. I am wondering when I might join the 704+ Club.

I have about 100 months of perfect payment history since my BK and mine is just very good.

From what I've heard, it takes a LONG time, as in several years to a decade.

However, if you're at 715, you're doing fine. That's a good score.

What are the thresholds on that Bad/Not Good/Good/Very Good/Great?

I have had only one late payment in the last 10 years and that was 4 years 7 months ago and I am at "very good".  I figure that when that drops off my acct that I will move into the "great" catagory.

There is the answer then. I have 2 public records clean payment history since April 2000 and I am just very good. Clean reports is the key.

Maybe it's because of your short credit history??  You don't have any baddies...so maybe the public records and late payments from the last 7 years is what affects those of us with longer histories?

No lates in 4 years 2 months - "Great"......keep in mind that the fact that I am in a probable 2-5 year bucket means I am "Great" in comparison to credit consumers with a similar length of history.

Exactly - you are likely in a bucket with longer credit history people so 4 years of clean history is not sufficient when you are compared to people with 7 years of clean history.
