I don't have very many, maybe 4 since Sept 2014, is this bad???? What should I keep it as??? I don't plan on applying for anything until I apply for a mortgage as soon as my credit is cleaned up and my utilization is down, but I'm just curious.
Dont worry about them.
Banks that will deny you solely for INQs aren't worth your time.
I read somewhere that 5 or more may be considered a red flag
also, does anyone know when they fall off?

I believe they are listed for two years, but only contribute to Fico scores for 1 year.
Inquiries fall off at the two year mark.
I have noticed that twelve year old inquiries do not appear on credit reports.
Hard inquiries stop affecting your score after 1 year and fall off after 2 years. They dont matter unless the credit lender you are looking to get credit from looks at it as higher risk. Like Barclays. They like to see a low number of inquiries. Just depends.
