thanks for the reply thorn, helpful insight

looks like ima be stuck with these three ccs for two years 😂

LoLz... 😂   not necessarily.

Just wait for them all to age exactly 365 days so they no longer count against your score (it just takes 2 years for them to actually fall off).   Then, you can apply again but keep it to a minimum -- try only adding 1 card every 6 months and see if you can space them out across the 3 bureaus (research the lender first to get a better idea of which bureau they may pull).

While you wait... join us in the Garden for emotional support -- we're all there for the same reason - no new apps to let our new accounts / inquries age and our scores recover.

Re: Hard Pull stories

Put the brakes on with the credit seeking and take what you have and try for credit line increases with your 3 cards.

Re: Hard Pull stories

Wow..

I have 3 Tu 2 Eq 2 Ex 2 and question if this is going to hurt a CLI attempt in 6 months. I feel this is too many! Perhaps my standard of too many is way too tight.

I'm new to credit learning but Yes, I would say your are done for quite some time. That amount of Inq and your age is likely to scare off any new lender that has any sort of risk management.

I can wait it out. Got annoyed being denied twice for too short of credit history so want that to be resolved hopefully. If something like chase freedom offer comes in the mail I might have to break this.

Re: Hard Pull stories

IMHO, I would prefer 2 every 12 months to 1 every 6 months. Why? So I get the AoYA points and have a better score for apping.

Re: Hard Pull stories

Yep. This is very true - and the best app method. Good point.

Re: Hard Pull stories

I'm just usually guilty of a few more than 2..... but really I've pretty much got everything I wanted, so I suppose its garden time.

ps edit, Plus looks better not to have a new account <12 months to prospective lenders, maybe better SL, too!
