I have a Zales Credit Card that still shows up as open, but innactive. My question is how do I bring it Active without them closing it? Also, if it does become active what affect on credit score will in have....Been innactive since '05.
Thanks....

Are you certain that it is still open, and do you still have the card ? If so then I guess you would just need to go buy something, and let it show on your credit reports in order for it to be considered active.
I do not have the card, but all three CR agencies are reporting it as OPEN and used as part of credit utilization,

Well if that's the case then I think you just need to get a card to make a purchase. Or perhaps you can walk into a store to buy something and they can look it up for you?
If I did that, and bring it active, you think it would bring the account active? By bringing it active would it increase credit score?

Assuming that the account reports a balance / usage, then yes it should be considered active. I wouldn't expect it to result in a large FICO score increase however.
