I've heard that in some cases CRAs can keep an item on for 7 1/2 vs 7 years (CO, CA).
I have an unpaid CA which according to my records should fall off now - December (for Cell Phone from California late 2001)
I disputed it off of Experian, still on TU. My Experian file says;
Status Details: This account is scheduled to continue on record until Jan 2009
Would this mean that it also must fall off of TU on the same date?

Short answer: NO. Check your full reports, each should give you a drop off date.
Where do I get a 'full report' for TransUnion? RIght now I get TrueCredit daily and MyFico as needed (and scorewatch and quarterly monitoring). None of these show fall off date, in fact information sparse...

yeah they tend to be diffrent seems like TU and EQ had the same date but EX had ealier ones. You should be able to get it off soon but some of my older ones really didnt help my score at all anyways.
Yeah weird, my old Cap1 CO gave me 80 points on Fako, nothing on Fico.
However, the CO will be the last baddie on TU. I'd think given I'm 700ish with eveyrthing else good, that baddie has to hurt (the CO amount in fact is a good 10% of my utilization as well)
Sorry nycc for the delay...been busy. annualcreditreport.com is where you can get the full reports.

my reports from annual credit report do NOT have fall off dates at all. I am having to get them from the stupid CRAs.

Didn't you report that before? Or someone did! Weird. It should be on EX and TU only. EQ lacks this info. For anyone reading this, you can get your full report also from each CRA or via TC for TU and CCT and other EX products for EX.

Yes! That was my posting. I have searched high & low for those **bleep** dates, too. I even went back online & checked every possible link I could find. No dates! ![]()
