I actually got my first 800+ today, also (809)....per NFCU EQ 9, but I’m not counting it as it was a fluke / mistake on my part. I have been implementing pif / AZ, but misunderstood my first BB&T statement cut date 🤦♀️ so I received AZEO points. Barring any unexpected additional expenses in the near future, I’ll be back at AZ next month and under 800 I’m guessing. 🤪🤓 You’re right though...it’s exciting. I almost spit my coffee out and fell out of my chair when I saw that 8.
Congratulations on your first 800 score! Well done!

Why do you practice AZ? I would go nuts knowing I was losing points for not using my credit haha. I let almost everything report every month and then PIF. My Marvel card gets paid before the statement but the rest of them I don't micromanage at all.
I agree...I am already bored with micromanaging just the few accounts I have! I’m only doing AZ for another couple months and only doing for personal curiosity / experimentation. I do not currently have a FICO score for EX and TU, should generate in September. Only reason I have a score with EQ is an old closed retail account that is hanging on that already dropped off EX and TU if it even ever reported to them. I had not used credit in so long, my reports were empty when I started paying attention to them, except the EQ. My plan is to see what my scores generate at in September doing AZ, then see what scores are the next month at AZEO.....then my plan is to do an SSL and see what scores are at that time. I’ll probably do SSL and one more card at the same time, these two additions should give me the installment loan score bump as well as put me in a thick file score card. After that...I am going “organic reporting” mode. Too much babysitting keeping up with due dates, statement cut dates, when I should not use this card or that card, etc. Should I come up on any needed major apps, I’ll make sure I’m AZEO to maximize score before an app.

Ah so you're not really being affected by it anyway. Got it. ![]()
