Called EQ and CSR could not explain SW Alert showing Type as N/A. Said Type shows as Mortgage inside the CR. Told me that initially FICO scores drop when paying off an account, but that the score would go back up in a few weeks. I expressed concern that a 55 point drop for paying off an account was excessive. The CSR just repeated that the score would go back up in a few weeks. CSR said to go to myfico.com or to call MYFICO at 1-877-SCORE11 for an explaination because EQ gets their FICO scores from them. Talk about passing the buck! The 877 number is just a number to order a score for $7.95, no CSR.
Naturally when I called the regular MYFICO support line they very politely told me that since my product was from EQ, they could not help me.
