I paid down my credit card to 45% util, why didn't my score change?

I have a gemb walmart credit card that was at 92% util and paid it down to 45% util. I received a scorewatch alert that my credit report has changed, But my score didn't change....what gives? Nothing else changed on my report.

Do you know that the new balance has updated yet? How much did your total util change? If your total util didn't drop enough, your score might not change. Did you pull the report to find out what exactly changed?

It's possible that it was something else entirely.

Re: I paid down my credit card to 45% util, why didn't my score change?

My balance last month was $572 and I paid it down to around $250. I didn't pull my report, I received an alert this morning from score watch that my credit report has changed and it was my new balance on my walmart card. Will the score update in a few days or should it have updated with the change in my credit report?

The score is calculated in real time from the data in the credit history every time a score is pulled, so it will always reflect the data contained in the underlying report.
