I want to check my scores before and after paying off this card. Do you know if Credit Check Total will update my FICO 8 as it changes within the month or does it just give you one score similar to how the free Experian score is generated each month? I've used MyFico, but I noticed how it has been delayed. I just want to use the best service that I can see how my scores improved.
Also I know AZEO is the best for mortgage scores, is that the best way to optimize your scores when preparing to apply for credit cards as well (For Fico 8)? Thanks!
I'm a huge fan of WalletHub, as you'll get daily updates to your TU report at 6am. You wake up, check it and everything is up to date. Once you know whatever info has updated on your CR, then go ahead and pull your report/scores from your source. It's never good to pull the trigger a day too early and miss out in the change(s) that you were expecting to grab at a specific time.
I also agree that AZEO while maximizing mortgage scores will also maximize Score 8. I would also think it would maximize BCE versions, which if you're applying for a CC could be used.
Right but if you have counting authorized user accounts, you have to have one of those with a balance as well.

No, AZEO doesn't seem to matter much to the FICO 8's.
While it may not matter as much for the 8s, it still does "optimize" them. It's just that any gains realized may be less significant.

True. And it's really the starting point of the profile that matters because how much of a change does AZEO make? If your profile is almost there anyway, it may not offer a lot of help.

I use CCT free trials to check my scores. I can't say how it compares to other services, but I can check all three FICO8's plus EX2 once every ten day period. I wait for the change I'm wanting to score to show on EX, which updates there daily, and then give it maybe three days for any posting delay and then pull the three bureau. If you're getting your free EX8 from Experian as opposed to Discover I don't know whether this would work, since Experian and CCT use the same account.
AZEO also works for making sure you're maximizing your profile for score 8. (It just has an extra wrinkle if you have any AU cards.)
@Slabenstein Ok. Thank you!

@credit8502020 you should use credit karma and free sites to make sure the bureau has updated pre-pull.
Whether you pull it from CCT, MF or wherever, it should be current as of the time you pull a new report. So verify it's updated and then pull a report.
@Anonymous Ok. Thank you!

@Anonymous Ok. Thank you! Btw, I looked at the Abbreviation list, but I only saw BCE referring to American Express Blue Cash Everyday card. Is that what you're referring to or something else? Thanks!

@Anonymous This is the interesting part for me. My AU account is my Mother's Home Depot card. However, I was helping my Mother also do AZEO. So I'm not certain that there is a way for me to obtain "real" AZEO, while helping her do the same if I need her Home Depot card to have a balance. Does that make sense or am I missing something?
Ex.
AZEO for her would be her NFCU credit card having a low balance and her Home Depot card having $0 balance.
AZEO for me would be my NFCU cc having a small balance and the Home Depot card have a small balance.
