@Anonymous This is the interesting part for me. My AU account is my Mother's Home Depot card. However, I was helping my Mother also do AZEO. So I'm not certain that there is a way for me to obtain "real" AZEO, while helping her do the same if I need her Home Depot card to have a balance. Does that make sense or am I missing something?
Ex.
AZEO for her would be her NFCU credit card having a low balance and her Home Depot card having $0 balance.
AZEO for me would be my NFCU cc having a small balance and the Home Depot card have a small balance.
@credit8502020 to be quite honest you're in uncharted territory because that's a retail card not a bankcard. Those are not recommended for use as a AZEO cards.
It's unpredictable whether you would have a better score with the Home Depot reporting a balance or not. Have you tested it? Do you even though it's counting on version 8?
you may be better off at true AZEO without a balance on the Home Depot because it's retail. the only way to know for sure would be to test in my opinion, unless someone else has experienced this and can contribute their experience? EQ8 could have a penalty for a retail balance.

@Anonymous Thank you!

Well since you and mother are intertwined, you have to decide who would need the biggest benefit for which version at a particular time.
For instance, you would want her card zeroed out for your mortgage Scores even if it was a bankcard, but for version 8, if it were a bankcard you would want a small balance for your score.
But since it’s retail it’s unknown. Yes if she has no authorized user accounts for her, just the one card with a balance on all versions to optimize for her.
@Anonymous Yes. I leave it at $0 so her scores will be optimized. The only time I had a small balance on it was when I was first added to the card to help make sure it posted toi help boost my scores.
Hopefully, I'll be able to test it after I pay off this Discover balance and we both get our 2nd NFCU ccs.

@credit8502020 what happened when it reported? was your score changed on version 8 or 9?

@credit8502020 what happened when it reported? was your score changed on version 8 or 9?
@Anonymous My score definitely increased. One of the main reasons is because of the 25 yr card age and of course it also decreased my overall utilization. I don't recall the exact score increase though.

If there was a score change, it should be counting then. But it’s an unknown what it would it would do as a retail, so leaving it at zero can’t hurt too much if at all until you’re able to test it. I would sure love to know.
@Anonymous Ok. I’ll definitely report back when I’m able to test it.
Happy New Year All! @Anonymous
Update:
Thank God I paid off my Discover card!!! My EX8 went up 25 points to 761! I'm not certain about the other score yet. Before I apply for a new credit card later this month, I'll be pulling my MyFico 3B Report so I'll at least know how much more the TU & EQ scores have improved. As of this month, my DCU score (EQ5 correct?), is 756.
Vantage moved about 2 points and of course, I'm not concerned about that, but figured I would share the DP. LOL!
