Inactive Accounts & Utilization

How long does it take for an inactive account to no longer be counted in your % utilization?  I received a notice from scorewatch saying that my utilization exceeded 33%, but according to my calculations I should be a lot closer to 25%.

Re: Inactive Accounts & Utilization

Sorry, I meant to ask how long it takes for an account to become inactive.  I have a number of accounts on my report that I haven't used in years, but they don't seem to say "inactive."
