Retention of inquiries in your CR is not regulated by the FCRA, and is only internal policy of the CRA

Their policy is two years, but the actual date will be when they get around to it.

FICO stops scoring them after one year, so the two year date is not very critical.

I can't speak for Experian/TransUnion, but in my recent experience I had a Equifax inqury drop off on the 2yr anniversary.
