Does anyone have a standard GW letter for getting inquiries removed? In July 3 inquiries were made on all 3 credit bureaus. All mortgage related. I own a property in FL that I do not owe a mortgage on but wanted to take out a HELOC, to do some improvements on the prop. I was approved for the loan. However, I was initially told an appraisal wouldn't have to be done. That it would be a digital appraisal, done on comps in the area. As the loan process went on, they did indeed want to do a traditional appraisal actually going out to the property checking it out inside/out. I am not in FL and not planning a trip there anytime soon. So I the loan was not funded. I want those 3 inquiries removed. I think I have like 17 inquiries over last 24 months including those 3. About 5 of those are to fall off within the next couple of months because of their age, but in my opinion, these 3 latest are not merited and I don't want them bringing down my FICO scores.
