Installment Loan Too High

I did a search but not sure what terms I'm "not" using to find an answer. I find instances where others have this same message about a loan balance being too high but in those cases the users have newley aquired loans so the message makes sense.

In my case I'm getting the message from an old 10K student loan that is now at a balance of approx $1,200 but apparently that balance is hurting my credit score according to MyFico.  Anyone know the mystery as to why?

Re: Installment Loan Too High

Why? Because they feel the need to toss something out there unless your score is over 800. That particular message is meaningless.

Re: Installment Loan Too High

OP, if that's the #1 issue they list, a $1,200 loan, you have no meaningful issues to address.
