Is Bankcard utilization separated from Store card utilization?

Normally I would have thought the answer to this question is no. I keep noticing that myfico updates and says overall bank card utilization 10% and then maybe a couple of days later I'll get over all retail trades utilization 20%. Are they counting these separately? I'm confused. Thank you

That's just TU's historical monitoring solution.  I'm not entirely sure why they broke it out that way for the lenders TBH.

Anyway it's one big lump revolving utilization sum for our purposes, and the tradelines are counted identically as under FICO 04 and 8 there's no difference between a store/retail card and a national bank card from a scoring perspective.

Older models like Nextgen (there is a difference) and maybe 98 aren't widely used anymore other than the Experian portion of the mortgage trifecta.
