Is There An Increase In FICO Score When CC Ages To 6-Months

I tried searching for this, but didn’t find an answer. I thought I saw an increase in my score when my credit cards reached 3-months. Will I also see an increase when credit cards age to 6-months?

In May 2019 I got the DISCO secured. I had an increase of FICO points in August. I believe it was the 1st or 2nd.

I did find a thread in reference to a substantial increase at 12-months.

Thanks

There are people who have noted increases at 3m's and 6m's but I do not believe it is a known or absolute threshold that all experience.  The 12m's or 1yr change in AoYA is the known threshold to receive the points lost for a penalty of AoYA dropping to zero. Some have experienced some of those points coming back along the way.  CassieCard is one that has noted this.

If your signature is correct and you have seven  cards, that's not thin.

Thanks @Remedios that good to hear. When I check EX it keeps saying I have a thin file.

I appreciate your input.

EX peddles cards and wants you to apply for more through their website

That's one of the ways they make their money

To answer your question, I get points on all 3 when an account reaches 3 months.

I usually get 5 points on EX when an account reaches 6 months, but not on TU and EQ, unless it's the youngest  🤷‍♀️

That's been my experience with the last four cards I added

And its my theory the three months and six months awards have nothing to do with AOYA but instead with the aging of the new account without delinquency.

Remedios your file is thick, right? And if I may ask, what is your age of oldest account?
