My wife and I just applied for a personal loan at our credit union. When we closed on the loan the Experian score they used was printed on the documents for both of us. My wife's Experian according to the credit union was 590, Myfico.com is reporting it as 663. My experian from credit union was 573 and myfico.com has it at 634. Can anyone explain the huge difference in the scores. This not from a fako site it is the actual scores pulled by the credit union. Will be calling both the credit union and myfico.com on Monday, one of them is wrong.

Maybe they used a different model? For example, fico 4 v fico 8
This is no doubt the answer. Many loan applications use Fico 4. Since Fico 8 places less emphasis on minor baddies, Fico 4 scores are generally quite a bit lower. Neither is reporting a "wrong" score.
