I'm wondering if there is a way to see what our FICO scores were two years ago? I first came here to learn about rebuilding credit two years ago and learned a lot. I got a Captital One QS with a low $300 balance and within 90 day was given an auto CLI to $2300. Today we have the same Captital One card, three retail cards, Dental Credit and a car loan with a great APR. Our scores are floating in the 665, 675 and 696 range. We just added in a AMEX BCE card with a low $1000 limit and we are trying to get a business card some where then we will continue to just garden to get to around 720 and just garden, garden, garden for the next three years at which time all the Baddies will roll off and we should see a nice score increase and have completely clean credit scores. I think we were around 550 in the beginning but I'm not sure? I know they used to show backdate but I don't see any now? Anyone know?
No, there is no way to know. The only way it would be possible is if you had some sort of credit monitoring service in place that went back that far that offered the option to archive reports and provided a FICO score to go along with said report(s).
Okay, thanks for the reply. I think we did have a credit monitoring service in the begining. I'll have to go back into our records and see if I printed anything out...maybe an old credit report or something hmmmm......
