In my case I got my judgment removed from two CRAs the other one never reported it. It was not verified. The impact on my score was just 5 to 10 points plus. It was 2.3 years old by then.
I am still planning on fighting the judgment in court as it was filed by a collection agency with unsubstantiated information.
The collection agency re-inserted the item in collection with notation that the account has been transferred. I will dispute this week.
The score matters, but I think when getting a loan, not having any derogs helps more.
So even though the judgment removal only helped my a few points, the fact it is not there helps.
I saw online that once the judgment had been taken off they cannot put it back again by law.
Does anyone know this to be true??????
