Late payments

I have heard different answer to this.   I have several late payments

some are over 2 years old and the acct is either closed or current, some are within 2 years old and are current.  For the ones that are two years old should I try and get off my credit report.

I see no basis for removal from your CR.  Prior lates stay on your CR for 7 years, regardless if the account is open or closed.

You can ask for GW deletion, but that is at the discretion of the creditor.
