I recently went on a mini spree back in December. Two accounts still have not showed up as new accounts on any CRA's. I want to lock all 3 of my reports for security reasons and to garden. Will this effect the accounts that haven't showed up yet? Do I need to wait until the show up?
No, you do not need to wait for all your new accounts to appear on all 3 CRAs before locking them down again. Locking just prevents any pulls from being attempted but info will still continue to update from new accounts to credit lines to payments.
You don't have to wait. A security freeze will not prevent creditors you have relation with from reporting accounts or accessing your credit report for reviewing purposes.
