Re: Looking for 2 more points

I agree with BBS. I think you’ll get it at 72 months and if not 78.

As for AZEO, remember thats kind of a short hand to get your score up. In reality the minimum number of accounts required to get your higher score varies by profile. For instance I do not take any point losses until I have balances on three cards. So the fact that you didn’t see a score increase is maybe because you were already at the lowest number of cards reporting necessary to achieve maximum score.

Re: Looking for 2 more points UPDATE

Got a letter in the mail from Comenity about my 10 year old HSN card.  Looks like HSN was sold to Synchrony bank and the account will be serviced by Synchrony starting the end of August.  I will bet anything that Synchrony will open their own tradeline and copy the history over, meaning I will have another 10 year TL to help my AAoA  (provided Comenitys TL doent disappear)  Im keeping my fingers crossed

Not going to make 850 and < 14 years

A few months ago I posted that I was looking for 2 points to make 850 Link below

https://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Understanding-FICO-Scoring/Looking-for-2-more-points-UPDATE/m-p/565...

Updating from there, I am still 848. No new accounts. No HPs.

At 6 year AAoA mark for TU saw no score movement on FICO or FAKO. December will be 6 yr mark on EX and EQ and Ill update this thread with any results.

AoOA is now 13y 11m.  Unless something unforseen  happens in the next 2 weeks, I wont hit 850 at < 14 years. Also, my AAoA now is 6y2m. Meaning i wont hit 78 months til March. I dont know if I can hold out til then for an 850 score. Im already at max AZEO scoring. 4 accounts showing a balance, down to 2 in 10 days. Only a 1 point FAKO improvement is expected

I tried guys. For right now Ill remain in the garden for a bit.  Thanks for all the support

You're getting close. Hang in there.

I hope you got your application list ready when you go on a spree or rampage.

And if no major changes you should be able to isolate the event that will cause you to hit 850, probably will be more than 2 pts but you wont see it.  Great DP opportunity to provide when it happens.  Hang in there.

Re: Not going to make 850 and < 14 years

Try just one account at 1% util.  One that has been reporting recently.

Random thoughts:

A car loan that is not PIF

Score bucket effect?

An account reporting that hasn't for awhile (not sure if this affects FICO score as too not reproting for awhile)?

It is so much more work to keep an 850.  If I forget to watch reporting balances I loose it faster then a late payment would.
