@Anonymous wrote:Yes, I have an active Discover card with a 5% util balance but both Cap One were showing $1500+ on a $1300 credit limit so now that they are 0 my utilization should be based on the Discover card I have since I don't have anything else in revolving.
@Anonymous OK, let's dig into this I need all your profile statistics that are currently on your credit report.
Any derogatories other than the 2 capital one chargeoffs? Details? Any utilisation changes? Number of revolvers or accounts with a balance change? (Other than the chargeoffs) Any old accounts that dropped off? Any inquiries that became unscoreable?
AAoA? AAoRA? if you have any loans on your CR, AoOOIA? AoOIA? AAoIA?
This is probably super late, but good luck. Equifax can be that way...I had a paid charge off with a Citi CC that I tried to get a goodwill deletion on, and Citi offered to "do me a favor" and report that I disagree with the account. It tanked all my scores by 15-30 points, my Equifax dropped 30 points and hasn't recovered since (this was last month, and the last activity was in early 2020 when I paid it off). My EQ Mortgage score dropped like 10 points though luckily (compared to Fico 8). My TU and EX seem to have recovered after I asked for Citi to remove the "dispute resolved, consumer disagreed" statement.
After that I kinda gave up on GW letters since everyone else denied or didn't respond...except for Synchrony Bank that deleted a 30 day late payment on my Amazon charge account that was closed about 1-2 years ago (it was paid in full on not a charge off, but the account was closed after that 30 day late). And that 30 day late remove had like no effect on my credit, probably because I had other lates and 3 paid CO's.
