Major FICO 8 Frustration

My Experian score was 663 a week ago today. It has been 657-670 for the last year. Last week was the all important day where I got to call Experian to have my foreclosure removed from my credit report. There was a zero balance listed on the foreclosure because the house sold for what was owed on it, but obviously the lates and negatives were there and it was listed as foreclosure. I wanted this bad boy gone in the worst way. So the next morning, I logged in and sure enough the item was POOF gone... however.. my score dropped from 663 to 620! A week later it it is still 43 points lower with the foreclosure removed. WHHHHHAAAAT?

So the only thing I could think was that now that I dont have a mortgage item on my report it some how alterered me because it definitely wasn't the length of account because it still shows I'm 16.8 years for longest account from another item... even if there is FICO math involved here.. I just dont understand how my failed mortage falling off finally could be what lowered my credit score by 43 points.

My biggest fear on top of all this is that AMEX is going to cancel or CLD me or something because of a 43 point drop... I have four cards I use religiously with them and the last thing I want is their pullers seeing this decrease and them dropping me or something. ;(   -- I had this date on my calendar for 2 years as the day my final huge negative fell off the standard report... now I just have some old tax liens I'm waiting to finalize.... but a 43 point drop.. DEFLATING. I thought it might go UP if anything.

Re: Major FICO 8 Frustration

I would say no mortgage or installment loan reporting open now rather in good or bad standing, dropped that horribly needed SSL technique so often spoke about about on the forums, with the overall <8.9 utilization. If you can, I would do the SSL ASAP.
