Multiple Models and 2 diffferent ranges of scores

I have only a small problem with multiple FICO models.  What I have a problem with is 2 DIFFERENT SCORE RANGES.  One range has a maximum of 850.  The other range has a maximum of 900.  Why?  When I went to my car dealer last summer (August 2018) they gave me a printout with 6 FICO scores.  They range from 818 to 865.  But FICO has blurred the meaning of scores so much, that on the paper the dealer gave me, it does NOT give the range of each individual model.  I go to the Myfico website and look for a table showing the score version and its range, and they don't have it.

But I can GUESS the score range maximum based on my score.  I know I have excellent credit.  So here are my guesses:

Score            Model                Max of Model Range

835                FICO V9            Probably 900

848                FICO Auto V8  Definitely 900

822                FICO Risk V2   Probably 850

818                FICO Auto V2  Probably 850

823                FICO Auto 04  Probably 850

865                FICO Auto 08  Definitely 900

What gets me is that if the algorithm really works as FICO claims, they should only need 1 algorithm and 1 range of scores.  The problem is creditors and websites give/sell you FICO scores without giving the range of the model.  THAT is what I object to.

FICO, at the least, you can prominently make available ON YOU WEBSITE a table of FICO versions and their score ranges.  Thank you.

We codified what we knew at the time here:

Cleaning yours up a little:   max score

835                FICO V9            850

848                FICO Auto V8  900

822                FICO Risk V2   844

818                FICO Auto V2  900

823                FICO Auto 04  900

865                FICO Auto 08  900

Also consumer behavior and lender products change over time: as a result there's not one score to rule them all because the datasets and predictors change over time.
