My score dropped 14 points and I can't figure out why!

The only change on my report was an account that I am an AU on was paid down to $0 from a 6 percent utilization. Is it possible that dropped my score, it is the only thing that changed on my report.

If all cards report $0.00, there is a scoring penalty.

Points will be back as soon as another cards reports balance.

We would need to know what your other limits and reported balances were.

You're not alone. Don't know why, but I'm an AU on one and everytime it goes to 0 my EX drops and put something on it and EX goes up. Just see this on EX. Others don't do it. Doesn't seem to matter about other balances. Happens predictably for me.

Re: My score dropped 14 points and I can't figure out why!

Yeah this is in reference to my Experian file I haven't seen TU and EQ yet but if it is linked to this Chase card I'm an AU on then it wouldn't matter because the account only shows on my Experian report. Maybe I'll check my other 2 scores and then I'll know for sure this is the reason why. I have 2 other cards that are mine and I have no balance reported on one card and the other I have $2 on it. Should I put a little more money on my cards? Should i give money to the card owner of the one I'm an AU on to put a small balance on?

Do you have other cards on your report and if so, what are their reported balances?

Are those current balances or reported balances?

The answer to that makes a huge difference.

If you have another non-zero reported balance, which it appears you do, your Fico score did not drop from your other AU account reporting $0.
