MyFICO TU score different from experian Fico 8

So I got my 3 scores from experian and then pulled. 3b and the T U score here is not the same as the Fico 8 from experian

Is there something wrong? Even had score drop on TU from EX site and still nothing here on myFICO

They all update at certain times. Being Sunday could be the reason. Most companies do system maintenance today but dont close down the websites. I've never seen where I couldnt login on MyFICO. Its being done in the background.

Just remember not every change to your reports causes an alert on MyFICO.

True. I just hate seeing a lower score. Had a threshold but nothing yet in TU . At least I know it exists and is correct elsewhere

Re: MyFICO TU score different from experian Fico 8

What is often a misconception is that myFICO provides alerts for all changes. They do not. Actually myFICO does not provide alerts for score changes. You will only see an EX score change on myFICO only if there is an alertable event (INQ, credit balance change and a few other things).  Read the fine print and that is not exact in my experience.  TU is the only CB that provides an alert for a score change only, that may not be related to another "alertable event" considered by myFICO .  I think EQ is the only CB on myFICO that allows custom alerts and not for all changes.  You can set an alert for EQ when a certain score is reached or exceeded.

EX subscription will provide all changes daily and does not limit you to so called "alertable events", but only for EX scores.  The other alerts received for the other 2 CB with an EX subscription are also limited to what that subscription refers to as alertable events.

Re: MyFICO TU score different from experian Fico 8

As BBS used to say, 3 things can cause a difference in scores. 1 algorithm; 2 CRA; and 3 time it was pulled.

If these 3 are the same, the scores should be the same. You said they were both TU FICO 8, so that only leaves the time of pulls. When was each pulled? Because if an intervening change occurred, it would explain the discrepancy, otherwise, Houston, we have a problem and need a refund because someone isn't live. When you pull, it is supposed to be the data of that minute.

Yes, @FireMedic1, I totally agree. I had to get used to that, it used to be really irritating. I wish they had a better alert system.
