I was at work and got a text saying my equifax score dropped 26 points.....I was scared a heck, especially since im suppose to close May 29th and dont need any extra crap coming up.....It said something about possible collection or looking for credit....

Logged into myfico, and saw that equifax score had went down....

I paid 10 to pull a score report....and score didnt go down it was 723 from 726 with no collections and last inquiri was form mortgage company more than a month ago....What the heck....

I called myfico, and they said technical glitch.....And credited me a fico score........

But that almost gave me a heart attack.......I just cringe at the sound of "collection"

My advice to you is to look into the background, which is what is currently in your credit report, as of this moment.

And you can get it for free.  They dont give you free scores, but do provide free credit reports.

If you have not done so in the past year, just go onto annualcreditreport.com.

This is NOT a commercial site.  It is the site establsihed under the FCRA to provide a free annual credit report once a year to all comsumers.  Free and mandated by fed law.

Order, on that site, your free credit report from each CRA, and that will give you the current poop as to what is or is not in your credit report.

Yes i tried getting the annual credit report--but it will not let me view it--even though i havent used my free this year---but anyways---thats why i purchased a report yesterday from here----nothing had changed--my score went down 3 points, but that may have been from the pull from the mortage company---no collections or anything---

I do hope that myfico pulled reports are correct--....
