Being in the mortgage business I run into clients with only 1 or 2 scores reporting when it appears there is sufficient credit to generate all 3 scores. anyone have any advice on how to stimulate the agencies to generate a score for a borrower?
You can always request that your current creditors report...
You can always request that your current creditors report to all three e bureaus. Some do, some don't. The easiest way to have credit on all three is to apply for a card that reports to all three. Most majors do. If you are just starting out try Capital one or Orchard bank.
